A caring neighbour

The A-wareness Foundation focuses on groups of people who deserve extra attention: people living in the local communities surrounding the employees and branches of Royal A-ware and AB Texel Group in the Netherlands and Belgium. As a good neighbour, we want to contribute to projects that bring these people together and provide them with enjoyable experiences.

The A-wareness Foundation offers support in various ways: through expertise, with products manufactured within the Royal A-ware Food Group, by organising outings, through financial donations and/or the deployment of volunteers.

A selection of our projects:

• a carefree day out at the zoo for families on a tight budget;
• a ‘hugging wall’ in a residential care home for people with disabilities;
• snacks for a festive afternoon in a care home;
• delicious dairy drinks during a class tour of a dairy farm;
• an engaging lesson on cheese in primary schools.
