Know what you're eating

The A-wareness Foundation is also committed to raising awareness about dairy products. We believe it is important for children and adults to know where their food comes from. What journey has the cheese been on before it ends up on your sandwich?

We have created this educational game specifically for this purpose ‘Keten met Kaas’.‘Keten met Kaas’ introduces children to the cheese supply chain in a fun and interactive way. The game shows what happens on a dairy farmer’s farm, how cheese is made, and all the other steps involved before the cheese ends up on your sandwich.

Teaching module

‘Keten met Kaas’ comes with a complete teaching module for pupils in Years 4, 5 or 6 of primary school. The module enables teachers and after-school care staff to deliver one or more lessons on the cheese supply chain. Pupils can also get to grips with parts of ‘Keten met Kaas’ at home.
Would you like to arrange a guest lesson? That’s possible too! Staff from Royal A-ware are happy to visit your school for an inspiring lesson on the cheese supply chain.
