Request project support

Anyone can apply to the A-wareness Foundation for a grant towards a project. It doesn’t matter whether or not you are a Friend of the A-wareness Foundation. Nor do you need to be a relative or employee of Royal A-ware or AB Texel Group. However, it is important that there is a link to an employee or branch. We would therefore ask that you specify this link in your application.

What kind of projects are eligible?

Projects that meet the following 3 criteria are eligible for support from the A-wareness Foundation:

  1. The project falls within the scope of the A-wareness Foundation.
  2. The project focuses on groups of people.
  • Caring Neighbour
    The project brings together people who deserve extra attention and ensures they have a good time. This concerns people in the immediate vicinity of Royal A-ware / AB Texel Group employees or branches.
  • Know what you eat
    The project is about knowledge of food or passing on that knowledge. The A-wareness Foundation believes it is important for children and adults to know where their food comes from and what constitutes a healthy diet.
  • Charity runs and other sporting challenges for a good cause in which employees of Royal A-ware and/or AB Texel Group take part.

3. The project takes place in the immediate vicinity of a branch or employee of Royal A-ware / AB Texel Group.


What types of projects are not eligible?

  • Projects that have no connection with an employee or branch of Royal A-ware or AB Texel Group;
  • Projects with commercial or profit-making aims;
  • Projects that have already been completed;
  • Projects aimed at individuals.

Are you a colleague and would you like to apply for sponsorship for a charity run or other sporting challenge? If so, please fill in the special application form at the bottom of this page.

After submitting your application
Once you have submitted the online form, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The board of the A-wareness Foundation will review your application at its next board meeting. This means it may take up to six weeks for your project to be discussed. Please bear this in mind when submitting your application. You will then be notified as to whether your project is eligible for support from the A-wareness Foundation.
