The A-wareness Foundation supports an initiative at Het Erf in Urk

Within the workshop, people with intellectual disabilities work together in various groups, including the ‘Green and Wood’ group. Here, they not only create beautiful wooden products but also actively tend to the garden.

With our support, they can get to work with new woodworking tools and a medium-sized greenhouse. In the greenhouse, they will grow vegetables and herbs, which will then be used by the kitchen group to turn into something delicious. This creates a wonderful, sustainable collaboration within the site.
