About us
The A-wareness Foundation aims to be a good neighbour, bringing together people who deserve extra attention and providing them with enjoyable experiences. We therefore support projects that contribute to this.
In addition, the A-wareness Foundation is committed to raising awareness about dairy products. We believe it is important for children and adults to know where their food comes from.
Various forms of support
Support is provided in various ways: through expertise, through products manufactured within the Royal A-ware Food Group, by organising outings, through financial donations and/or through the involvement of volunteers.
The projects organised or supported by the A-wareness Foundation always take place in the vicinity of a Royal A-ware Food Group site or employee.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board ensures that the Board of Directors uses the funds appropriately. The Supervisory Board consists of:
- Corine Kroft – Chair of the Supervisory Board
- Ayse Dayioglu – Member of the Supervisory Board
The Board
The board consists of employees of the Royal A-ware Food Group. It assesses project applications and awards funding to projects. It also organises and coordinates activities on behalf of the A-wareness Foundation. Meet the board.
Management and revenue
The A-wareness Foundation receives funding through donations from across society. Donors include, for example:
- Royal A-ware Food Group, the company that initiated the Foundation.
- Suppliers to companies that form part of the Royal A-ware Food Group.
- Friends of the A-wareness Foundation via an annual contribution of 10 euros.
Applications for financial support for projects are assessed by the board on the basis of the objectives and articles of association of the A-wareness Foundation. Once approved, applications are submitted to the Supervisory Board for final approval.
The treasurer manages the finances and ensures transparent and accurate accounting. All income is used for the benefit of the projects. The board members and members of the Supervisory Board all work for the Foundation on a voluntary basis.
