Who has access to your data?
The A-wareness Foundation will only disclose your personal data to those responsible for carrying out the purposes described above. The A-wareness Foundation will not disclose your data to third parties, unless it is legally obliged to do so or if the A-wareness Foundation, acting in good faith, considers that it has a legitimate (legal) interest in doing so.

How do we protect your data?
The A-wareness Foundation ensures that your personal data is subject to an appropriate level of security, so that it is protected and safeguarded against unauthorised use, unauthorised access, alteration and unlawful destruction.

What privacy rights do you have?

What are the consequences if I do not wish to provide my personal data?
You are not obliged to provide your personal data. However, if you do not provide certain personal data, you may not be able to access all parts of the website and/or The A-wareness Foundation may not be able to respond to messages you send to Stichting A-wareness via the website. Furthermore, The A-wareness Foundation may not be able to fully meet your requirements.

Why does the A-wareness Foundation process your personal data?

2.3 You are a potential Friend of the A-wareness Foundation
If you have indicated in any way that you are interested in becoming a Friend of the A-wareness Foundation and have provided us with your details for this purpose, we may process these details to send you information and to inform you about the potential Friendship. We may use your postal address to verify whether you are already a Friend of the A-wareness Foundation. Your personal data may also be processed if this is necessary to comply with laws and regulations or if there is a legitimate interest on the part of the A-wareness Foundation.

The A-wareness Foundation asks individuals featured in photographs or videos – for example, of activities at events – to sign a consent form. This information is used solely to identify you and to contact you should any questions arise regarding the use of the photograph or video. The legal basis for this processing is consent.

2.11 You are submitting an application as an employee of Koninklijke A-ware Food Group B.V. (or a group company) for a contribution towards a sporting challenge for charity.
If you apply for a grant from the A-wareness Foundation to support a sporting challenge for charity and you are employed by Koninklijke A-ware Food Group B.V. or one of its group companies, we will process the data you have provided to us in your application and which is known to Koninklijke A-ware Food Group B.V. by virtue of your employment. This may include your name and your email address and/or postal address, as well as information needed to assess whether and for how long you have been employed by Koninklijke A-ware Food Group B.V. and in what capacity. This data is used to assess your application and respond to your request. Your personal data may also be processed if this is necessary to comply with laws and regulations or if there is a legitimate interest on the part of the A-wareness Foundation.
