Het Nieuwe Land Buddy Tournament in Almere

The A-wareness Foundation contributed to the 3rd Buddy Tournament organised by Het Nieuwe Land in Almere.

During this special tournament, participants from various care homes played friendly and, above all, enjoyable matches alongside their buddies and carers. It was a day centred on fun, teamwork and self-confidence.

The Buddy Tournament demonstrates just how powerful inclusive sport can be: exercising together, supporting one another and ensuring everyone can take part. On the pitch, everyone is equal, and that is precisely what makes this day so valuable.

Our contribution enabled special Buddy Tournament shirts to be produced for the participants and buddies. A lasting memento of a day full of pride and connection.
